Shipping & Delivery

1. What this covers

This policy applies to paperback books dispatched within India. E-books, CB Supers subscriptions, publishing services and promotion plans are delivered electronically or performed as a service, and involve no shipping.

2. Delivery charges

When the printed items in your order (paperbacks, framed certificates and other keepsakes) total under ₹499, a flat delivery charge of ₹49 applies. At ₹499 and above, delivery is free. The threshold is the value of the printed items before any coupon, so a coupon never adds a delivery charge. The charge is shown as a separate line in your cart before you pay, never added afterwards, and it is never deducted from the author's royalty.

3. Dispatch and delivery time

Books are printed to order. Dispatch usually takes 3–5 working days from the time your payment is confirmed, and delivery a further 3–7 working days depending on your location. Remote PIN codes can take longer.

4. Tracking

Once your order is handed to the courier you will receive a tracking reference by email. You can also see the status of every order under Purchases in your account.

5. Address accuracy

Please check your delivery address and phone number before paying. We cannot change an address once a book has been dispatched, and a parcel returned to us because the address was wrong or nobody was available can be re-sent only after the delivery charge is paid again.

6. Damaged or incorrect deliveries

If your book arrives damaged, or is not the book you ordered, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace it at no cost to you. Please keep the packaging and send a photograph — it is how we claim against the courier. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for what happens next.

7. International delivery

We do not currently ship outside India. Readers abroad can buy any title as an e-book.
